As I mentioned earlier, getting to meet you guys has been the best part of being a content creator! Of course, I can chat with you guys in the video comments and livestreams, but it's WAY better when I can actually hear your voice or speak to you in person!

🈴Japanese of the Week
In Japanese of the Week, I want to give you some useful and interesting Japanese words or phrases for any of you who are interested or studying Japanese language!
Today’s Japanese of the Week is "En" (縁)! In English, "En" roughly translates to "connection," or "bond." Japanese people especially value this word and use it quite often in daily life to describe meaningful encounters and relationships! Here's an example of how we'd use it:
Youtubeを始めたおかげで、みなさんと素晴らしい縁ができました。ありがとう！
(Youtube wo hajimeta okagede minasan to subarashii En ga dekimashita. Arigato!)
It's a long sentence, I know! But it has a very important meaning:
"Thanks to starting YouTube, I was able to build a wonderful connection with all of you. Thank you so much!"

I saw this shirt the other day at the mall! It says, "GET POWER from what". Simple 'Engrish' shirts like this make me laugh so much! Even though we have AI that can help us write perfect English sentences, I still respect these Japanese clothes companies who say, "We don't need AI! We know perfect English!" I hope Japan's silly English never goes away!

Japanese words have been adopted into everyday language in America, but for US, they make no sense! I couldn't believe some of the words you guys chose to use, instead of the REAL Japanese words! This one was a lot of fun to make and I hope you have fun watching it!
